Celebrating Excellence: Coach Joey Named 2026 Coach of the Year

On Sunday, April 12, during the awards ceremony at the Lake Erie CCC National Cheer Competition, our coach, mentor, and owner of Superior Athletics was honored in a truly special way. Joey was recognized with a heartfelt speech that perfectly captured who he is to this gym and to every athlete who walks through our doors. We are beyond proud to celebrate Joey as the 2026 Coach of the Year.

Joey is a true example of what it means to dream big and follow through. From starting with a vision at a young age to building something extraordinary, he has shown that hard work, passion, and dedication can turn dreams into reality. His impact goes far beyond the mat—he inspires, leads, and supports every athlete and coach with unwavering commitment.
